1914 (24.12.) registered cover to Ipswich franked Gold coast 3d. tied Lome Togo cds, reverse with Registered London and Ipswich date stamps; stamp affected by corner creasing . Also with two pieces ½d. and 2½d. tied Lome cds of 14.1 and 29.3.

1914 (27.2.) stampless cover to Vlone bearing BERAT despatch cds with handstamped ‘T’ alongside, at bottom left ‘T/ Takse’ overprinted 50q. applied and tied Vlone cds; the envelope with scissor cut at right and small punch hole at left; despite faults a good early usage of top value from the first Postage Dues issued.
1914 (31.10.) cover to Riga bearing single-franking 7k Romanov tied by a very fine strike of negative PERNOV MUTE SCULL AND CROSSBONES in black, double circle Pernov date stamp alongside. A very fine example, seldom seen.
1914 (6 Aug) 1d. postal stationery card registered to Hannover additionally franked ½d. (2) and 1d. tied Nassau cds, manuscript registration and ‘R’ handstamp, oval New York transits front and back, arrival cds towards bottom left; fine condition.
1914 (6 Nov) internal cover to Guadalajara franked by revenue stamps overprinted MEXICO that have not been accepted, one has been removed, two violet handstamps ‘ESTAMPILLA DE DOCUMENTOS’ and straight-line ‘NO franqueado’, Post Office sealing label at top which is affected by a vertical filing crease.

Constitucionalista Revenues tied by Matehuala S.Luis Potosi cds, underfanked and framed “5” charge handstamp raised, arrival cds at base of Sep 14, handstamped ‘Unclaimed’ and ‘Advertised’ plus two-line date stamp of OCT 14, reverse with Victoria duplex cancel of Oct 12; roughly opened at top with part missing, stamp affected by crease.

1914 envelope addressed to Kurgaus, Wurttemberg, franked on reverse 10k. Romanov tied by purple Favignana * Piroscafo Postale Italiano date stamp (Black Sea Line). Censored en route at Munich with censor strip applied with violet cachets, the strip with manuscript date of 20th September, curiously, the maritime cds is dated 9th November; vertical filing crease and sme staining, a most unusual cover.
