1904 (9 Aout) registered cover to Jaffa, Palestine franked pair ‘1 Piastre 1’ on 25c. tied by Samsoun Turquie cds with a further very fine strike alongside, reverse with transits of Constantinople Galata Turquie, Smyrne Turquie D'Asie and Alexandrie Egypte plus Jaffa arrival . Reverse also bears fine scallop seal of Banque Imperiale Ottomane.

(4) and 2d. tied by double-ring date stamps with small crosses, index letter C sideways, cursive registration handstamp, sent via London with 17 JY 04 transit backstamp and New York (7-27), redirected then on arrival. Fine and fresh condition.
1904 (May 18) registered cover to Budapest franked 10c. and 20c. tied oval Choutsun oval bilingual date stamp with registration handstamp in same ink alongside, additionally franked for overseas postage with Kiautschou 30pf. pair tied Tsingtau Kiautschou cds whose registration label appears at base, reverse with blue Kiaochow cds and arrival cds.
