Affixed to thin card confirming the portrait to be that of Nicholas Romanov and signed by an official F. K. Ochmetov and dated 27th May 1912. Probably unique.

1904 (17.VII) registered envelope to the Advice of Receipt Departmet of the Berlin Post Office, franked 50st brown and deep blue overprinted PCP (Pour Certificate Postale) tied Sophia cds, reverse with arrival cds, three blue scallop labels of the Berlin Post Office affixed at top; central vertical filing crease and small tear at top of envelope, a scarce cover.
1904 (19 Mar) envelope franked on reverse with 1pi. on 10k. tied by ROPiT/ AGENT DARDANELLES oval date stamp, Greek and Arabic company chop above this. A very fine and scarce example.
1904 (21.1.) 5p postal stationery reply card to Mwaya (Muaja) before the opening of the local post office, regarding a Lloyd agency from Chinde, Mozambique, unnecessarily additionally franked with 25r of Portuguese Zambezia, tied single Deutsche Seepost Ostafrika Linie p cds, Tanga transit of 9/3, Dar es Salaam 11.3 and Langenburg cds of 11/4. The reverse with a Fort Johnson, Nyasaland transit that must have been applied on the outward journey. The lengthy delay in forwarding from Tanga remains unexplained. Fine and unusual, rare reply card.
