(vertical pair) and 50c. tied Asuncion cds, registration label to right with ‘AR’ handstamp over ‘R’, arrival backstamp.
1899 (17 Aug) registered cover to Potsdam, Germany bearing Coiling Dragon values including $1 Goose tied by neat bilingual Amoy cds, the 5c. cancelled only by ‘R’ handstamp with registration handstamp to right, additionally franked for overseas postage with Hong Kong 10c. purple/red single and blocks of four and six with distinctive framed I.P.O. handstamps of Amoy, additionally cancelled in Hong Kong, arrival backstamp. Without backflap and some slight soiling not detracting from fine appearance, The $1 a rare stamp on cover.

1899 (23 Set) cover to Buenos Aires, sent registered AR and franked 1892-96 60c yellow-orange corner marginal tied Asuncion cds, registration label to left with ‘AR’ handstamp over ‘R’, another two handstamps towards base, arrival backstamp.
1899 (3 Aug) envelope to Portland, Maine, bearing C.I.P. 5c salmon pair and 10c green, cancelled by Paoting dollar chop, in combination with Japan Koban 10s vertical pair with small framed ‘I.P.O.’ tie-print and Shanghai I.J.P.O. cds; the cover with original enclosure, the stamps have a few small faults not detracting from an attractive double rate cover.

1899 (30 Mar) picture postcard ‘Great Wall’ to Germany franked CIP coiling Dragon 4c. tied by incomplete Peking dollar Chop, Shanghai transit Dollar Chop alongside, pair of Hong Kong 2c. added and tied by distinctive small framed I.P.O. tie print, cancelled Shanghai cds with Hong Kong transit below and arrival cds at right. A good early example.
