Postage due applied and tied cds; fine condition.
1875 entire to Lisbon franked 80c. Ceres tied by ‘532’ gros chiffres of Bordeaux, small red framed P.D. and oval framed FRANCA, annotated at top to travel on the “Orinoque”, reverse with Via De Mar Lisboa cds.
1878 10c. Official postal stationery card authorised for public use sent from NAPLES to Reggio in Calabria by sea and landed at Messina, Sicily, where struck with a boxed 'PIROSCAFI/POSTALI' handstamp with the third line missing (only recorded used at Messina). Then taken across the Messina Straits to Reggio on the mainland.
1879 (1 Feb) outer letter sheet to Zurich, Switzerland, franked rouletted pair of 16c. tied by Buenos Aires cds, endorsed “pr Biela” , Southampton Ship Letter and Ship Letter London cds both of MR 6, arrival backstamp.
1879 outer letter sheet posted on board ship to Napoli franked 20c. orange-brown tied by framed PIROSCAFI/ POSTALI/ INTERNO handstamp, without any further indication of despatch but probably Palermo, arrival backstamps; fine and attractive.
1883 envelope with imprinted albino seal on backflap ‘Secretaria De Hacienda’, addressed to Paris routed through Colon to connect with the “Ville de Brest” bound for St. Nazaire. 1891 registered cover to Paris franked 'Parisot' U.P.U. overprinted issues roulette 2ct. on 20c. pair and perforated 50ct on 1/2p. pair, both with pen crosses and blue despatch cds, registration hanstamp below, fine octagonal maritime Haiti A Fort De France L.E.No.1 date stamp, red Paris Chargements arrival at left. The stamps, as opposed to the stationery, are very rare on cover.
1892 'Penny Halfpenny' postal stationery card to Belgium cancelled Bathurst cds, Paid London Br Packet transit at left, Bruxelles arrival cds and postmans handstamp; full message on reverse.
1892 (12 Juin) 5pf German reply postal stationery card, used from Austria to a ship at Hong Kong with full message, reverse of reply section with Singapore to Hong Kong marine sorter, used back to Dresden, Germany with the added Austrian stamp and German 5pf image with pen cancels, Hong Kong SP 2 index E despatch cds, arrival cds of 10/10. Some splitting to join otherwise fine and unusual.
1895 (22 Janv) Military Concession rate cover to Bordeaux franked 15c. tied Corr. D’Armees Noumea cds with another fine strike alongside, front and back with violet Colonies Francais Nlle Caledonie/ SERVICE DE SANTE, the one on reverse with manuscript endorsement and signature above. Also showing the rare French Packet Line T transit in red Cor.D.Armees Paq.Fr.T No4; light horizontal filing crease and slight envelope faults not detracting.

Slight stain bottom left and some more on reverse not unduly detracting.

1898 cover from Vladivostok addressed in English to Copenhagen, Denmark, placed in ship’s letter-box and the 10k. Russian stamp cancelled on landing at Niigata Japan, framed PAQUEBOT (Hosking type 3268) alongside, Tokio transit, reverse with San Francisco transit and arrival cds.
