SERBIA – Disinfected mail 1848 outer letter sheet sent to Pest from Plovdiv. Entering Serbia disinfected at Aleksinac, quarantine station wax seal applied on reverse. Letter was transferred to the Serbian postal system and on the entry to the Austrian Hungarian Empire disinfected at Semlin quarantine station. Reverse shows handstamp of this quarantine. Rare double disinfection cover passing through three different postal systems.
