Jamaica 1809 "On His Majestys Service" entire from London to His Excellency General Villettes/ Lt Governor/ Jamaica with a fine example of the straight-line PACKET LETTER applied in London. The letter arrived after the departure of the addressee and was redirected to London and charged 4/- the double letter rate.

Ship Letter Jamaica oval crown handstamp, rate markings and "1/2" local carriage charge handstamp. Some peripheral faults to entire.
