Jamaica 1809 "On His Majestys Service" entire from London to His Excellency General Villettes/ Lt Governor/ Jamaica with a fine example of the straight-line PACKET LETTER applied in London. The letter arrived after the departure of the addressee and was redirected to London and charged 4/- the double letter rate.

Jamaica 1815 (18 Aug) entire from John Fergus to Falmouth with some interesting content, with a N.B. addition reading "I am sorry to say that Port Royale is most all burnt down about four weeks before our arrival here". Ship Letter Jamaica oval crown handstamp, rate markings and "1/2" local carriage charge handstamp. Some peripheral faults to entire.
